HDCP Error- STILL NO FIX?

I'm writing this post to wonder what exactly is happening with the HDCP error that countless people have been experiencing? There was a huge post about this that was started literally years ago and it's been moved from "Support" to "Xbox Live Wishlist/Feedback"

I find it insulting that it's simply been shoved aside to another section where it clearly does not belong when the issue is still going on YEARS after being reported. I STILL cannot watch anything on Sky Player, LoveFilm, Xbox films etc through HDMI (even
though my TV's are HDCP compliant) and I have also tested friends and neighbours TV's and get the error on them too! I have to use component cables which is an absolute pain moving the leads around any time I want to watch TV (which I shouldn't have to).

Is this still being looked into? A huge part of the reason I pay for Xbox Live is for Sky player, so i'd like to know whether to cancel or whether this will finally be fixed. It's going to be a year soon from when i first experienced the issues, i feel sorry
for those who have had to deal with this for 2/3 years and more.

G'day, Noxiious! Sorry to leave you hanging on this issue. We're not ignoring anyone affected by this; on the contrary, we're continuing to investigate to get this solved once and for all. Once I have some solid information to provide, I'll update that thread.

Now, in regards to that being pushed into feedback: that wasn't to brush it off. Long story short, before we upgraded the forums we re-organized the Xbox 360 Support area and disabled/retired the forum in which that thread originated. An issue on our end
prevented us from moving the thread anywhere except Feedback, so we put it there temporarily to keep it alive. Now that the upgrade is complete, I'm able to move it back to a Support forum! Here's the new link.

Apologies for any confusion that thread movement may have caused. It's back where it should be now and we still have our eyes on it while we get the HDCP Error issue sorted out.

Thanks for the answers I have Tried Turing Display Discovery off but my xbox still gets the HDCP error I have a logik 3DTV and it is HDCP compatible My HDMI cables were from Game so there not the problem

Hey, guys! The "lost signal" error is not the information I am gathering for. I'm gathering info for the HDCP error that people have been getting as seen
here. The issue has been bubbled up to the proper teams, and once that is resolved, may resolve the "lost signal" error as well.

The steps provided aren't a way to fix it permanently, just troubleshooting steps to verify that it's not going away. There currently is no fix, but know that we are working on it and that I am still gathering everyone's information that is having the HDCP
error and sending it up.

Jaded - Thank you for not only posting up your information, but bringing that other thread to my attention. I will pop in there and let everyone know what is going on, too.
