HDCP error 0xc00d7159

G'day,

I had the same problem with a older TV that was not HDCP compliant and only found out about it after I downloaded a movie on my old X360.

Check out your TV model specs on their site.

You may have to invest in a new TV.

I recommend getting at least 4K UHD, but if you can afford it 4K with HDR10 compatibility.

Thanks for coming to the forums and creating a new thread. Lets first try a clear of the persistent storage and power cycle after clearing. To clear persistent storage go to settings>disc and Blu ray>Blu ray>persistent storage> clear it three times. Once
that is done do the
power cycle. If you could provide us with how your console and TV is set up. Are you connected directly to the TV via HDMI?

HDMI cable from Xbox to TV...I try all recommendation so far no luck...need to purchase a new TV to go with the new xbox console... never again will I upgrade a device or purchase movies from xbox....

i tried both types of reset, th error message that pops up says

"cant play, make sure your tv is connected and turned on, also it must be compatible with hdcp.''
