HDCP code 0xc00d7159?

Why now? None of the quick fixes work, but why is this a new issue for me, haven't changed cables or had any else plugged into my tv. Even when i move my Xbox to a better and few months old tv, same error. so wtf man?

Just bought deadpool 2 on here. C'moooonnnn

No sound from Xbox music on Xbox.

I have the latest updates. When playing music I do not receive any error codes. The visuals or videos for music videos appear, there just isn't any sound.

DVDs give a hdcp error, which happens on several TVs with several different kinds of cables. Netflix also gives a code related to hdcp. R8157-6030

Converting Xbox One S HDMI to VGA + Audio

Your problem is occurring likely due to HDCP.

HDCP, or "High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection", is a DRM (Digital Rights Management) measure that encrypts the HDMI connection. VGA is unable to decode HDCP, as VGA is purely an analog connection, and cannot communicate digital code back and forth
like HDMI can.

The Xbox One dynamically enables and disables HDCP, depending on what you're doing on the Xbox (gaming, watching a movie, etc), and I don't believe there's a way to totally disable HDCP.

If your projector is HDCP-compliant and has a DVI input, I'd suggest converting HDMI to DVI instead. Otherwise, you may need to get a new projector, preferably one that has an HDMI input.

I had the same problem. I was able to fix it by unplugging my Xbox an tv for a min. Then plugged it all back in. It worked after that

I had the same problem with a older TV that was not HDCP compliant and only found out about it after I downloaded a movie on my old X360.

Check out your TV model specs on their site.

You may have to invest in a new TV.

I recommend getting at least 4K UHD, but if you can afford it 4K with HDR10 compatibility.

Thanks for coming to the forums and creating a new thread. Lets first try a clear of the persistent storage and power cycle after clearing. To clear persistent storage go to settings>disc and Blu ray>Blu ray>persistent storage> clear it three times. Once
that is done do the
power cycle. If you could provide us with how your console and TV is set up. Are you connected directly to the TV via HDMI?

HDMI cable from Xbox to TV...I try all recommendation so far no luck...need to purchase a new TV to go with the new xbox console... never again will I upgrade a device or purchase movies from xbox....
