    HD Movie purchase freezes and streams in SD


    This evening I purchased an HD version of the movie Riddick. The movie quality was horrible! When it wasn't freezing up, it ran in SD quality most of the time. I've streamed 4K movies through other services with no problems, so it is not my connection.
    I will not be purchasing movies via Microsoft anymore...

    Movie quality question

    I bought Robocop on XboxVideo on my console and watched it in HD. Good movie by the way, still prefer the original though. Now when I go to XboxVideo on my laptop it is only available to view in SD,
    why is that?

    • Client being used: HP laptop running Fedora 20 with FireFox 29

    Hi there whiskeywild! All movies are available in SD. You should be able to change this option from HD to SD before confirming the purchase, by selecting "More Options." Are you not seeing this option?
