    HD Content preparation time gone mad?


    ...and today we say goodbye to Chiron69, that spent 4 years waiting for the HD content to prepare each time he played....

    Is the game meant to rebuild it's HD content BOTH for the internal and DLC textures each time the game is started?

    Incredibly time-consuming!

    Hope someone can help. HD Content preparation time gone mad? :)

    Ok, the error code is gone, that's progress.

    So from what you've described for us, it do seems to be isolated to BF4 and BF4 only.

    Could you check your primary storage device, so there are no contents, related to your profile or BF4 data, that might have become corrupted. Corrupted contents is shown as an yellow exclamation mark.

    Could be that their servers are undergoing maintenance and preparations at the moment, since the game is to be launched on Thursday. Make sense?

    NO, the only time I get the "Optimizing HD Content" is after a title update.

    Hi Mr,

    Thanks for the update on your issue. If the disk is reading unformatted, then it will need to be formatted. The content on the HD is basically already gone. This is due to somehow the HD has become corrupt. SO in order to get it working correctly, you will
    need to format the drive again. If all the data is gone, we recommend to
    enable cloud saves    .
