I am part of the Xbox Insider, the HD (500gb) of my xbox broke and made the exchange for another of 500gb, I made all kinds of process for the exchange, but always the error in the system restore or the offline update by pendrive. they say it's because
INSIDER is the version of OSU1 is older than it was on my Xbox, and as my XBOX does not care I can not get out of INSIDER anymore ... what can I do now?

buy a cheap old xbox hd and open it and remove the hd from inside and you can plug your slimhd right into the plugs provided inside the older case of hd

be sure to check tamper evident tape on the screws, its a possibility they may have switched the 250 gb hd inside and changed it for a 20 gb BE CAREFUL ONLY TRUST AUTHORIZED XBOX/MICROSOFT RESELLERS

There is nothing trivial about the software component required.

I am sure someone will put the driver for
the HD-DVD player in there.

Someone? Xbox One is inside a walled garden. The only hardware drivers that will end up on the console will be provided by Microsoft.

Microsoft isn't going to support HD DVD on Xbox One. Besides a driver, HD DVD playback software would have to be provided. Maintenance of that ended years ago.
