    What do you use your Xbox 360 nowadays for?

    Pretty much just games. Sometimes I'll use netflix/hbogo.

    But anime/film DVDs and for the most part netflix/hbogo I use

    on PS3.

    Having a corrupted app file is one of the possible reasons why you're having issue with the HBO Go. To help you resolve this concern, I need to collect more information. Kindly answer the questions below:

    • When did the issue start?
    • Are you experiencing this issue with your other app?
    • Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the affected app?

    Is the HBO GO app down?

    I just got to the bottom of this...in my case Charter's DNS server was not resolving HBOGO addresses correctly...I entered a public DNS server such as google's 8.8.8.8 into the network settings and now I can use HBOGO with no problem
