HBO Now app wont launch

    HBO Now app wont launch


    My HBO Now app would not start so i did all the troublehooting that was suggested but still can not get the app to launch. Everytime i back out of the HBO menu where it shows to launch it always makes me install the app again which i do and end up trying
    to launch which it wont do. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

    HBO to Go and Xfinity APP.

    How much longer, I knew Feb 28th launch was postponed but now its been almost a Month. I have a feeling the app is goign to launch the same day as HBO GO (April 1) and if not than it'll be another month XD

    Does the HBO Now app support 5.1 audio?

    Will the HBO Now app produce 5.1 (or better yet 7.1) audio out to my AV receiver via HDMI?

    Or is it just stereo like the Chromecast HBO Now app?

    So that we can best help out and don't suggest the same steps, can you let us know which troubleshooting steps you've already tried? After uninstalling the app have you attempted a full power cycle? Let us know HBO Now app wont launch :)

    I initially shutdown the console and once i restarted i tried to start the app but got nothing then i uninstalled the app and intalled it and tried to launch but it wont start up, it just beeps as im pressing the launch button. Whenever i back out from
    that screen and i am looking at all my apps, it always reverts back to "ready to install".

    Just to clarify, before re-installing the game, have you tried a complete power cycle once it's installed? that can ofte times clear up the "cache" and allow you to install the app properly.

    Dominos has a promo out for Epix right now. It looked like the download of the Epix app completed, but when I try to launch it, it says it's unavailable right now. If you go to xbox.com/status, it says there are issues with apps right now. I can launch HBO GO,

    Hey, HydraulicAsp21! If you are able to download the app and launch it, we are outside of the troubleshooting that we can do on our end. Sounds like it's an issue either on your provider's side or HBO's side. We've seen issues where the content settings
    on someone's provider account was causing issues with viewing items on HBO Go, and it might be similar with HBO Now. If that doesn't work, I suggest contacting
    HBO again for further assistance. Thanks for understanding!
