HBO Max Child Profile Has All Content Locked, Despite Permissions Given to Appropriate Age...

Another bit of key information is that when I access her profile in HBO Max on my console, it works just fine. So it's the console-specific content restriction that appears to be causing a problem. I'm trying to figure out where I can allow her console
to properly access the app or content in the app now with no luck. Would appreciate any help at this point. You would think it would show on the Always Blocked list if it was actually always blocked, so I could remove it from that manually through the parental
controls. Perhaps there's a bug that doesn't show the app properly, even though it's stuck on that list somehow. Unless one of those always blocked browsers is mis-labeled HBO Max app. *shrugs* Help!

Okay, finally solved the problem. I had to log into my profile on the console in question and update the Family settings for my daughter's profile, on that console itself, and remove the age restrictions for all of the content. Since I have the global
family settings that restrict content and require permissions, nothing seems to have changed except now she can actually see the content she's been given access to on her console. But it makes me wonder if she now has access to content she shouldn't, despite
needing permissions. This feels very counter-intuitive and feels weird to be unlocking the console for all-age content in regards to her profile just to allow the proper permissions to restrict content in another way. But, at least it's solved the problem
for us for he time being, I suppose.

Under Family Safety App and Game Limits it has a little orange marker that shows an issue with the Xbox Console my daughter's profile is on. When I click on it, it tells me the message below. But when I go to that section, there are 31 things set to always
be blocked and they are all just web browsers, and not the HBO Max App.

So, what's the deal? Why can't a profile set to access the content, who has been given explicit permission to access the content, not access it? I appreciate it failing on the side of caution and not simply letting someone have access to it. But it's a little
strange that I've literally given access to say the content isn't blocked, set up appropriate permissions for the account profile in the app itself, and the account still can't access it on the console.

Is the account you trying to use a child account or an adult account?

As child accounts will not be able to play certain games online unless the parent account has given the required permissions.

Sea of Thieves has a age rating of 13 years and up.

I think the closest you get is managing the games by your child's age.
