It depends on the distribution deals they have in place with cable/satelite providers. The game is changing where they no longer "need" these companies to distribute their content. I just wish it was HD. From what I can tell the content being streamed
via the Xbox app is not in HD. I would rather watch HBOgo on my Ipad.

Bug HBO about it, they are the ones that have to build the apps

 

All I want is one person from Microsoft to shed some light on when or even if HBO GO is still coming to the xbox one. That's it.

 

Maybe HBO could shed light on that for you, considering it is their product. It's going to come eventually, but I highly doubt MS or HBO will give a timeframe...that's just not how it usually works for these companies for whatever reason.

 

I agree with both of you guys where is HGBGO and it needs to be out on here immediately, Game if Thrones is 2 months away and this should've been the 1st app Microsoft put on the new console

It's crazy I bought an XBox One as a streaming device and no HBO2Go? your joking right? I should have just bought a $99 Roku or kept my XBox 360

I am very disappointed in the fact that ps4 has an hbo go announcement and we do not. this is supposed to be the "one" console for entertainment and games. That along with resolution and frame rate, dolby audio support, and bluetooth; all small victories
that are causing an overall win. we believed in xbox to have better features, that is the reason we paid $100 more despite the graphical superiority of the ps4. if we lose on this front then we lose tthe enttire war. ps4 is outselling xbox. make these changes!!!

platforms. We won't let this happen for a couple reasons.

1) we're awful

2) Microsoft and Time Warner hate cash yeah ( on the couch yeah).
