Same issue here for both XBOX 360's not working with Verizon FIOS, HBO GO works fine on XBOX ONE

Anyone having trouble connecting to the HBO GO servers on Xbox 360? It was working fine on Saturday...

 

This is starting to *** me off, you can't say its up and running when clearly it's not. And yes I've deleted and redownloaded several times. Please fix this!

Try changing your DNS settings to OpenDNS servers or Level3 DNS. That worked for me.

I have no idea what DNS settings are, but I changed them according to the instructions in this thread:

Still not working here! Still getting Request Timeout server error. Deleted and re-downloaded the app and it didn't help.

 

This is a routing issue. I had this problem as well and tried all the steps at the HBO Go support site: deleting the app, deleting the system cache, etc. and nothing worked. I searched the interweb and found this thread on redit:

I manually configured my DNS servers to point at the Level 3 public DNS servers and it is working now. Must be some sort of routing issue, perhaps at an ISP level.

I changed my DNS settings to those suggested in the reddit link above; it worked without affecting my ability to connect with other apps such as Netflix. Thank you for solution.

 

Switched back to automatic DNS settings. App will not work. Went back to the manual, changed settings. App works fine.
