    HBO Go Documentaries menu is blank


    I use Xbox 360's around my house as WMC extenders from my HTPC as well as streaming on 3 of my TV's.

    This has been happening for the past couple of weeks. When I load HBO Go and go to the Documentaries menu, it will spin for a while and show blank. All other sections work fine. Since we had only tried it on my kitchen TV, I tried it on the bedroom TV (which
    just downloaded the app update) and it did the same thing. Both units are Xbox 360 S 4GB units. Both are hardwired to my 1Gbps internal network on a 30Mbps internet connection. Haven't tried my 3rd Xbox yet (and Elite) but I am guessing the same result.

    Any ideas? No other issues with this app, nor issues with any other ones we use (Netflix, Showtime Anytime, Amazon, Plex and WMC works perfectly).

    December 6th the latest update to the Xbox 360 dashboard

    I am actually really liking this new update. I cant wait for the apps to start rolling in like Youtube. The biggest ones that I can't wait for are HBO GO, Xfinity and Vevo. I use HBO GO almost everyday and anyone that knows what it is, knows how absolutely
    AWESOME it is that it's coming to the 360 so you can watch all your favorite HBO shows, movies and documentaries on your big HDTVs instead of your laptops or computer. Also I am hoping that Xfinity is like the On-Demand service you have for your Comcast Xfinity
    service where you can watch movies, tv shows and whatnot from your 360.

    Apologies for the confusion! You can deactivate your account by trying the following the steps below. However, If the you are unable to get past the error message then you will not be able to get to the settings menu to deactivate your account.



    • Open the HBO GO app and press the Menu button.
    • Select Settings and then select Deactivate HBO GO.
    • Select Deactivate Now and then select ok.
    • Once you have deactivated HBO GO, close the HBO GO app and press the Menu button.
    • Select Quit.
    • Navigate back to the HBO GO app and press the Menu button.
    • Select Activate and follow the steps to activate your HBO app again on www.hbogo.com/activate
    We will be sure to provide and update from the investigating teams as soon as one becomes available. Thank you for your patience!

    Since they removed the Netflix Party system I guess this is my only next option. But if its not free then its not an option at all. Since they raised the price of xboxlive this stuff better be free.

    HBO GO is free to all people that subscribe to HBO on their cable services. If you do not have HBO on your cable service, it will not be free for you. I think the same goes for Xfinity.
