Having weird multi-player experience on mincraft how do I fix it

So my friend is playing on xbox and I am playing on a switch I am playing it through my Microsoft acount which he is friend with on mincraft and on the Xbox for some reason he can't join me but I can join him and I realy want to show him my 1 year world and all my sewing should allow him to join. Help?

I have xbox1. I have the new call od duty. I have everything downloaded. It won't let me play multi-player. How do I fix this?

Is the mode or modes being added because the developers genuinely think it will add to the experience, or is it being added so the publishers can put an online pass in the box.

As for detracting from the single player, that depends. How much disc space will the multi-player component take up? Is it not possible that single player content will be cut in order to make room for the multi-player on the disc?

Its actually pretty fun to play multi player versus and campaign. As a single player game, not as much fun. If you are looking for more of the original, wait for RE6 to come out. The focus of RE: ORC is multi player experience not single player
