Having Two Types of Consoles at a Time

Hi guys.

I'm an Xbox 360 user. Purchased games, playing them. No problem.

I'm planning to buy Xbox One games, but I want to use both of my consoles. I'll purchase Xbox One games with that account. And I'll have to login both of them.

Is it possible? Is this legal?

How about timing? Let's say I've logged in my Xbox One and playing games. While playing with it, my brother wanted to play with Xbox 360 and logged in to my account. What will happen?

Having two NAT types help?????

Hi on my xbox 1 i seem to have to NAT types for call of duty ghosts, in the network settings it says that my NAT type is open but when i load up COD Ghosts it says my NAT type is strict i can play the game but i cannot join my friends lobbies which i find
annoying. i can join parties with my friends and join his games of FIFA. i have tried the usall restart the router but that does not help i only have this problem with infinity ward games i think..

 

You can be logged onto one profile on one Xbox 360 and one Xbox One at any one time. You cannot be signed into two Xbox 360s at once or two Xbox Ones at the same time, but one of each is perfectly fine.

 

So that means I can purchase games for both with one account?

 

Yes, you can use the same account but one copy game will not work on both platforms. You would need to buy the games separately. For instance, if you buy FIFA 15 on Xbox 360 digitally, you need to buy it again on Xbox One.

However, a game like Advanced Warfare if you buy that digitally on Xbox 360 you can upgrade to the One for free. Destiny is the same. These types of offers are decided by the publishers and thus are wholly dependent on them making such an offer available.
You still need to download two copies of the game in this example, but thanks to the deal offered by the publisher you do not get charged for the second.

Just to add to what Maxen13 has said, most of the offers that give you an Xbox One version when you purchase a 360 game are for a limited time. Keep that in mind when deciding to purchase a game that currently has one of these promotions.

 

I downloaded advanced warfare on the Xbox one. Can I download it on the 360 for free?
