Having troubles connecting Xbox One Controller to Windows 7 Laptop

I have become very frustrated trying to find a solution to my problem. I am hoping some of you might be able to give me some ideas to try.

The Problem:

When I connect the controller via micro usb about 10 percent of the time it actually works. The other 90 percent I am getting an unrecognized device error. I am using this Xbox Controller with the "Dolphin Emulator". What I usually do is just keep plugging
it in and out until it recognizes it. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I try to reboot the system after uninstalling the drivers and yet again it's anyone's guess if it will work or not. What is really frustrating me is in the middle of using the controller
when I finally get it to work it just stops responding to my games. Mind you it never loses power and is always connected to the laptop. So to try to fix the problem I unplug it and plug it back in. That usually results in another unrecognized device error,
code 43 to be exact. I just don't understand what I can do to solve this problem. I have tried different usb cords and different ports. I usually know what I am doing when it comes to computers but I am lost for words. Just in the middle of the controller
functioning it cuts out but doesn't turn off (no batteries so I would know) and when I try to reconnect it I get the code 43. In the Controller properties it has three device functions.

HID-compliant game controller

Xbox Controller

I am wondering if there is somehow more than one driver installed for this controller or something. I don't know... If you need any more info please ask I will provide it. And thank you in advance for trying to help resolve my issue.

xbox one controller not connecting to pc

i have had some troubles with connecting my xbox one controller to my pc. i have installed the correct drivers and my computer will show a message saying drivers were not installed. i do not what the problem is. can anybody help me with this issue.

Windows 8 connecting to Xbox Live through laptop

I am having a big problem of connecting my xbox live account through my laptop. i use to be able to before i updated my laptop to windows 8 but now i wont connect. I am very frustrated and perplexed because the day before i had windows 7 and it worked but
now that i have windows 8 it wont connect to xbox live . I need help Please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I think it might be a loose usb port on my laptop. All of them are I guess...
