Having troubles choosing a game to get. Also, should I trade in Destiny?

I feel like I don't have much to play. Idk why.

I tried Destiny, it looks amazing, I just suck a the PvP. xD I mostly got it for the PvP, honestly.

Any game recommendations? I know COD just came out.

Ever Had Problems Picking Which Of Your Games You Should Trade?

I don't really have a problem choosing which game to trade as i do regretting my decision later to trade it.

 

Help me choose 2 launch games

So okay i am having trouble choosing which launch games to get. I really like all the first party titles taht are coming out, forza 5, dead rising and ryse all look really good. I just am not sure which one to choose from. I have COD ghosts already paid
off, so should i get AC4, or get two of those 3rd party exclusives?

 

Halo MCC. 4 games $60, will keep you busy for awhile

Dont insult Halo with the trash that is Destiny. Destiny has about .5% of the content Halo does. Not to mention the MP is abysmal in Destiny.

 

Forza horizon 2 is amazing

 

With MCC, farcry 4, sunset overdrive, Call of duty and many more games coming out this month, we certainly aren't short of choices. I would recommend any of those four though. Oh and don't forget the new assassins creed as well. As for destiny, I personally
am enjoying my time with it. Then again I go into games with low expectations as I never buy into the hype like most people do, having been let down to many times. I'd suggest keeping it as it may get a lot better with dlc and updates and you may regret getting
rid of it.

 

^^Very concerning when people are saying wait for DLC to drop and it might make the game better. A sad state of affairs for gamers these days.

 

A sad state indeed but a fact we have to deal with my friend. Cause trust me when I say! It's not going to change.

 

It stops when we stop tolerating it and don't buy the games. Sunset Overdrive is going to be my last release day purchase from this point on it's Gamefly for everything and I'll make a purchasing decision based on the rental.

Between the PC and two last gen consoles I have a huge backlog of games so I'll wait on the new releases.

 

The only way to stop it randver is for every one to stop buying games. That will never happen lol. Dlc for every game is inevitable now. And PC is starting to get in worse shape. The amount of games that are releasing in alpha and staying there for ages
is crazy. People buy them and they are buggy as hell and then say "oh it's ok, it's only an alpha". The gaming industy is a mess of greed and nothing more.

The games on the PC aren't releasing in alpha they're early access and we are supporting their development. I've purchased dozens of them and the vast majority continue to receive regular updates.

The PC is actually what gives me hope that things will turn around. We are seeing innovation and passion on the part of the small development teams that is sorely lacking with the big guys.

 

Alpha, early access, beta, it's all term for unfinished product. Some of them charge a fair bit and then it stays that way for long time. The point I'm trying to make is that it has become the norm now. And the the more we support it the worse it will get.
I have heaps of early access on steam as well. Some have been that way for a long time and some have stop support completely. My question is where does it end? The money grabbing I mean!

 

Of course they are unfinished, they are in development.

If you and I were to start to develop a video game today it could very well take us years ( it takes AAA titles years). We'd still have to work real jobs, life would get in the way and cause delays, etc. I've found very few that have just completely stopped
development or released an unfinished product.

I just picked up the early access game Road Redemption and it's more polished and "finished" than many recent AAA releases. If we don't support these guys (small developers) then I agree we are *** but I think they are our best hope for change.
