Having trouble with "upgrading" Minecraft to the Xbox One.

Add me to the list. Friend told me he was having the same issue and had to buy it via the store on Xbox.com, however it still shows 20 for me. I even have achievements and played a bit a few days ago.

Finally got the promo price. Realized I bought the game on a different account. I ended up "borrowing" minecraft on disc and just playing my old save. Less than 24hr later the promo price popped up.

Any answer on how to fix this yet?

Do you have the old "Minecraft Xbox One Edition", or the newer "Minecraft" (without the Xbox One Edition)? Or do you even have the Xbox 360 version?

The "Minecraft Xbox One Edition" shows the Minecraft character Steve with a pickaxe in hand coming out of a forest, followed by a dog/wolf and a creeper.

The "Minecraft" shows several Minecraft characters and animals on the top of a hill.

The old "Minecraft Xbox One Edition" is now discontinued and won't recieve updates anymore. It has been replaced by the "Minecraft" without Xbox One Edition in the title.

Since you have a physical disc, there was an offer that lasted until February 2018, where you could get the upgrade to Minecraft for free if you played at least 5 hours before January 31st 2018. But that offer has ended, and you can't get the upgrade to
Minecraft for free anymore.

All games you have installed on your console will be automatically updated when you start the game, or when the console is in "Instant On Mode".
