Having trouble with the Xbox one achievements

about a week and a half ago I started encountering this problem where I can not unlock achievements for destiny and halo 5 after playing a little longer I realized that I couldn't unlock achievements at all I have called Xbox support several times and the
last time I called they told me to come here and I should be able to find a solution can somebody help with this problem or have a solution?

I honestly can't say, but did they tell you to delete system cache? I don't own an xbox one, but I imagine you can delete system cache and maybe that's causing the problem. That's my guess.

I've had achievements take a few days to pop up, one of my Destiny achievements took 7 months to pop up ... but that's only happened a few times for me. It has something to do with the console syncing up with the achievement information, I know I've read
about people getting a backlog of achievements to pop at once.

I would try to get an achievement in another game, Destiny has had known issues about achievements before and Halo 5 may be a bit buggy the first week or so .... just like most big release games.
