Having trouble with playing BC games?

Try power cycle console. Xbox live status page state that everything is ok. Link.

Have you tried Faxtory reset with option keep my games and apps?

Maybe this will help, as you stated that you removed and add the account back.

Maybe is just a temporary glitch. How's your internet connection?

Edit: I forget number 2 as the moderator said. That is also helpful.

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently experiencing difficulties with lunching a backwards compatible game [BC] on your Xbox One.

I would recommend following these steps to see if this procedure will allow you to launch the game:

1. Remove your account.
   • Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
     
   • Select System > Settings
     > Account > Remove accounts.
   • Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm.
   • When you're finished, select Close
2. Clear your Xbox 360 storage:
   • Select Settings
     > System
     > Storage, and then select
     Clear local Xbox 360 storage.
     

You can then, once more, perform the
power cycle suggested by Xbox Forums Ambassador GroundOregano94:

1. Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
   
2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.
   Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
   
3. Plug the console power cable back in.
4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox One.

Spending some time with Dragon Quest 11 since I seem to be having nothing but trouble with my Scorpio this weekend. MCC doesnt want to play anything and keeps saying the games aren’t installed and now I can’t play BC games I have the disc for.

Do you just have trouble with disc based BC games? Do you have any issues with any Xbox One games they you might have on disc?
