Having trouble with my wireless adapter (I think)

Okayyy, so my Xbox is currently not picking up any wifi. The adapter is connected and is blinking green, but when I'm in network settings, there are no wireless connections available. When I click "wrieless network" I get a popup saying I need to connect
an Xbox 360 adapter. It started off as just being kicked from Xbox live shortly after connecting. Then I was being kicked from the Internet, but I was still able to reconnect. And now nothing. A few times, the wifi networks came up for a second and then disappeared
again. I have brought it to a friend's house and tried connecting to their router, but still no go. Do I need a new adapter or is it my Xbox that's the problem?

Router brand & model number: belkin F9K1102V1

How many consoles do you have connected to this router? 1

Wired or wireless (for each console): Wireless

If Wireless, are you using a white or black external adapter, or an internal (Xbox 360S) adapter? External Black Wireless "N" Adapter

Things you have tried:

Restart console

Reset modem and router

Remove and replace wireless adapter

Clear cache

Remove and re download profile

Connect to different wifi

Is UPnP Enabled? Yes

Do you have a NAT error? No

Any Error Codes you encounter:

Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)? xfinity Comcast

After you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" press “Y” for "More Info”. Not able to do this at the time

trouble with my wireless adapter...

I have this exact problem also. Started happening "out of the blue" a couple of months ago. System had been working fine for many years, then all of the sudden, it seem like I can't get a "goo" connection.

 

Does anyone have any suggestions? Please help!!

 

my xbox is also doing this it can't detect my adapter which is plugged in. The adapter is flashing green but the xbox can't detect it

To me it sounds like your Wireless network adapter is is defective.

The flashing green light on your wireless network adapter would indicate that the adapter is
trying to connect to a wireless network.

Have you tried to connect your wireless adapter to a different USB port on your console?
