Having trouble with hard drive Reading and installation

If it is the long installation time with bought disc you could try to disconnect your internet connection who gives a faster installation time.

Ok I have re-read your post from what I see it does not read game and you can not install games in your hardrive but you system does read your CD and Dvd's.

Yes i am sure, I INSTALLED the game to the HARD DRIVE, But when i go to play the game it still reads it from the disc and not from my HARD DRIVE. The disc drive is reading the GAME DISC normally from the disc drive, But it should be reading it from my hard
drive because i have it installed to my HDD. But it dose not, It still reads it from the disc drive. And i played it for like an hour lastnight and and it read it from the disc the whole time. And not from my HDD.

It does indeed sound like the console is dying and in need of repair/replacement.

When you have scratched discs the laser can have trouble reading them. If you choose to get a new console I would recommend installing the games to the hard drive to help the drive last longer in the future.

There are a few things that can cause frame rate issues such as overheating or excessive dust. Also, are the games you're having trouble with installed (or not installed) on your hard drive?
