Having trouble with gamertag

Yesterday I changed my gamertag using the Xbox website. It has been over 24 hours and my gamertag still has not changed yet.

Just wondering if this is normal or not?

Any help would be appreciated

Which Gamertag are you having trouble signing in with? This Gamertag (GurningChimp21) appears to have no history.

Thanks for the support message.

You can see some crazy looking things for the first couple of hours when you change your Gamertag. Please go to
Sign in to your Microsoft account and check to make sure you did infarct change your gamertag in your transaction history. Please also give the current gamertag on the account, and the new on you're
wanting to change it to.

Is this only on the console or Xbox.com that the new gamertag is not showing up on?

I went on to the website and it confirms that I did pay for a new gamertag. I changed it to from lAndyHDl and after two days it has still not worked.

It is on all platforms that the new GT does not show

 

You can try deleting your profile & redownloading it,just make sure you know your log in details.

It can take a few days for everything to sync up sometimes

Well my issue hasn't been resolved so I think it would be sensible to bump rather than let the thread die so I can actually receive help

It will update eventually but if you really can't wait then contact support for your region & see if they can help.
