    Having trouble using an iPhone 6 personal hotspot on Xbox One


    I have been using my iPhone personal hotspot to game for the last year. Unfortunately it is my only option. It worked perfectly fine for me but ever since I downloaded the new dashboard it no longer works. It connects to xbox live, I can see all my friends
    online and when I test network connection it tells me "It's all good". I go to play Destiny and it tells me I am not connected to Xbox live. I load up Fallout 4 and it won't sync my saved games. I cant connect to a party or view my messages. I understand it
    is a pretty unique issue but is anyone else having this problem. I have put nearly 1800 hours into Destiny over the last year on my hotspot so I know it works. Just been having trouble since I was forced to download the new dashboard a few weeks ago.

    Xbox one won’t connect to hotspot

    I was just using my iPhone 8 hotspot on my Xbox yesterday and now all the sudden when I try to connect it connects to the hotspot then boots it off and will not connect to my iPhone hotspot anymore. Please help. Other devices connect fine still to my hotspot,
    only my Xbox will not now.

    Lagging + Crashing?

    I've solved my problem. The lag and disconnections were getting really bad past few days. Had a look through my Iphone while waiting for the Xbox to finally go to the dash. And started using "Personal Hotspot" As my iphone is connected to the wifi at home
    as well as 3G signal I gave it a go. Since using my Xbox live thorugh the Iphone it's not lagged once! And as I'm using the '3' network on the one plan tethering is free! Win!

    I wasn't really able to play crucible but the rest of Destiny worked just fine. I could do raids, nightfalls, all the 3 player content worked ok. Trials and skirmish worked well enough too since there's less players.

    I have no issues with my tmobile iphone 6 , maybe ur data plan has changed or ur iphone needs hard reset.
