Having trouble typing in my xbox 1

Thank you so much for your help. I am a little tech-blind as it was my grandson that got me playing. I ended up spending hours building him a city in Minecraft..lol He would have been very upset if he had come to stay and couldn't type names or seeds that's for sure. Thanks again!

Hi Thank you for responding. I did a full reset (keeping games) on the Xbox and it solved the issue for me. The white box is still there but it will now transfer the text to the correct box when I hit start. It was doing it on all games and was so irritating as it would only put the text in the white bar above the keyboard and nowhere else. Thank you so much for helping Hopefully if anyone else ever has this issue this will fix it for them too.

For me to better understand the issue, I’d like to ask a few questions:

• Is this happening only to this specific game only?
  
• Have you tried to connect your Xbox One controller to a different Monitor or TV? if it has the same behavior.
  
• If possible, can you provide a screenshot of your issue for me to have a better picture of your issue.

Hi,

I understand your frustration, but NAT issues are caused by your router and your home network. It's not a fault of your console.

I guarantee you, switching to a PS4 won't fix the problem.

Perhaps you could explain what steps you've tried? We'll be happy to help.
