been trying to download assassin's creed 3 since it showed up in games for gold a few hrs ago keeps saying sorry try again..

You're right. The issue is tied with the IP address. Some content cannot be downloaded outside of the country in which the offer was made. Changing the country on the dashboard will not fix this issue. What you'll need to do is Migrate your account to
your new country and that should solve your issues.

I waited for a couple of minutes when the last screen came up! (the "do you want to buy" screen) cause the game was not done processing, and after 2 min it worked, so you guys should try again and wait a couple of minutes before you press "buy"

just to be absolutely sure, you didn't have a credit card attached as a payment option when this happened? Because I do have the disc version, just wondering because this is happening to me too

I already have the disc version of assassin's creed, but switching to digital will allow me to get rid of the disc version I already have

Thanks for answering. I've tested the geoip and there is no problem, it's my ISP and my region.

Actually, I downloaded Might and Magic without any problem so how is it possible to succeed downloading a game with gold but not another? My console is a gift and I don't think I'll buy a new one if the Xbox one is almost there
