    I have an American XBox-360, but am currently living in Japan. When I first started using my account here, about a year and a half ago or so, I didn't change my region or anything like that (I wasn't even aware of it, to be honest). Despite that, I had
    no problems using PayPal to pay for my Live Gold account, paying and downloading content, etc.

    About two months ago, however, a lot of this changed. I couldn't purchase DLC any more, but my Live Gold account went through as always. When I had free time I started looking into it and eventually figured it must be because of the fact that PayPal isn't
    accepted (any longer?) in Japan as a means of payment. So, I bought a prepaid XBox entertainment card at a store here (for 10,000 yen or around $100). When I tried to redeem the card, however, it tired to register as $10,000! Unsurprisingly, that didn't
    go through.

    Figuring that it was a problem of reading currencies I figured out how to change my region to Japan. I updated my Microsoft account to Japan and was even able to register a credit card on it, something I'd never been able to do before, I assume since there
    was a clash between addresses/regions. I then also changed my region for my XBox, or so I thoght.

    At any rate, I thought I was all set. When I again tried to redeem my prepaid card it was correctly evaluated as 10,000 yen, but to my surprise still wouldn't go through as I was informed it clashed with the currency of my region. This completely confused
    me as I thought I'd changed the region for everything I needed to.

    Going back through everything I noticed one discrepancy. With changing regions my Live Gold account was stopped. When I tried to reactivate it in my new region and use my credit card to pay for it, it still had me in the USA. I hit the 'Change Billing
    Address' button, but when the information came up, everything was available to be change except the country! It seems to be impossible to change that option for some reason.

    I've gone through the various posts you seem to have on these issues several times, but my XBox so far seems to be stubbornly stuck on the USA and I can't change it. A littl help would be appreciated.

    Oh rad! Yeah sometimes it just takes a bit to process, but it sounds like it's behaving for you now! Having trouble changing regions/address :)

    I'm trying to change my region from America to Canada (apparently the US is the default region) on an account i've apparently had for a long time, but haven't touched in ages. The error message i get is "There’s a problem completing your move right
    now. Please check the Region Change Support Page to make sure it will work for you, and try again later."

    I've checked the support page and there's no reason i shouldn't be able to migrate. Anyone know what might be causing this?

    Hi there,

    to change the region of your account you will need to follow the steps here:
    support.xbox.com/.../change-region


    Just be aware that this could result in several things, for example the language might change to Japanese etc (it will only use the offcial languages for that region)...

    Be sure to read the support page carefull to fully understand what will happen because you can only do this once every 3 months and it could have a result you might not want.

    Yes, I had already found that page Tthe site is quite well-organized and easy to follow, by the way. Kudos to you all!). Even after doing all that, I was still stuck as I mentioned above.

    At any rate, there's no need to worry about it any more. It seems to have sorted itself out somehow. When I tried again today to change things, it worked fine. Perhaps the system just needed a few hours to register everything and share the information
    around? I'm not sure, but as I said I have no problems now, fortunately.

    ok. I have finnaly changed my region to my actually. from Rus to Est. Still doesn't work. How can I know, what region I should sand for downloading?

    And what if trouble also in that payment information still have Russian address. What if I create new payment information with Estonian address and thishow my region will have tottaly match with paymanet inf. and my original region?

    Sorry to hear about the region change troubles. Let's see if we can get to the bottom of this for you.

    Looking into your account, it appears you initiated the region change today, 6/5. Region changes can take some time, so I would suggest waiting a few days for it to complete the transfer.

    One other detail I am seeing, is you do not appear to have entered a valid US address. Are you actually physically located in the United States? If you are not actually located in the US, that could also be a reason why you are having troubles migrating your
    region.
