Having trouble adding child's account to 360.

Hey, so, I'm having a weird issue with downloading a profile to my 360, and can't find any info about it online.

I set the kid up with my old 360 in his room, and it's connected to the internet - I downloaded my profile and everything worked, so, I just wanted to add his Live account, because he plays Minecraft on the Switch and we added him as a child account tied
to my Live account.

Whenever I try to download his profile to the 360, I get an error message pointing me to the account.live.com page, which isn't very helpful, since it shows that his account is working fine. If I log into my own account on the 360 and check the Family tab,
it lists his account there, but, it's not on the 360 and I can't add it.

I know it's not a password issue, because I tried entering the password incorrectly and it gave me a different error message regarding the password being incorrect rather than a problem with the profile.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Okay, turns out this was an issue with the child profile being disabled for "suspicious activity." Logged into the account and it cleared up immediately.

I've been trying for hours and even tried turning off the Xbox and trying again and its still doing the same thing.

Do you have a child account, or were you added as a child in the xbox one family settings? If you do have a child account, you won't be able to complete the order on your Xbox One or even from the Xbox store website since it is a
360 title. Xbox One titles can be ordered and installed by a child account if restrictions are not set to restrictive by the adult, however for Xbox 360 titles, it doesn't work the same. If you do have an Xbox 360, you can get around this limitation by ordering the
game from the Xboxof

360, but this will still depend if your child account restrictions are set lenient enough.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble adding currency to your child's account. If you're trying to do this from the website I'd like to suggest downloading the Android/iOS app to your mobile device and try from there.

That message typically comes up if you're on a child account or you do not have a credit card/Paypal on file. If you are on a child account, you can only make the purchase through a 360 console. Otherwise, try adding a payment method and/or trying from
xbox.com.
