Having to Reset my One almost everyday now?

Every day this week I have had to reset my Xbox One due to none of my apps working and getting the same error code when this happens. The error code is 0x8027025a. Its getting pretty annoying since I can't even watch TV with this error code popping up
or Netflix not working due to the same error. I really don't think on a 500 euro machine that this should be happening everyday now.

Hi X 0l Sk00l X! You can't just delete the preview program, you have to open the app and opt out of the updates. Otherwise, they'll keep coming.

Let us know if that fixes it.

So I deleted the preview program so i could stop dealing with these updates, and im still getting them. I still get about at least 2 a week around 375 mb. This is getting really annoying.

You can put your Xbox One in powersaving mode. This way you won't have to powercycle since the cache and network get reset when turning the console off in powersaving mode.

You can put it in powersaving mode by following these steps

1. Press the Home button
2. Press the Menu button (right from the home button),and select
   Settings
3. Go to Power & startup and select Power
   mode
4. Select Power saving

This way you never have to clear your cache anymore. Also on a sidenote, all electronic devices need to be reset now and then, it depends how much they are used and how many apps have been used. The cache stores information for faster accessing, it can get
full and things stop working. That's why a reset is necessary

While this may well fix the problem, it completely negates one of the main selling points of the One, Instant On mode.

A much better solution would be MS actually acknowledging that they broke it in a previous update, and fixing it.

So you're saying Instant On has never worked then?

It certainly worked for the six weeks I had my One, right up until the Nov/Dec update, since then I've had to do a hard reset at best every other day, at worst several times per day.

 

Instant on works, I use it. You just have to reset your cache once in a while. Every 3 days or so I powercycle my Xbox One to prevent having those issues

 

It may be working for you, but there are loads of threads full of people it's not working for.

I could live with doing a hard reset every few days, but I'm having to do one several times per day, so something isn't right.
