We need to validate if you’re using the same Microsoft account where the game was purchased. Kindly sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders.

Once confirmed, make sure that all DLC for the game are installed. Highlight the game the go to “manage games and add-ons”.

Ray tracing will be a standard feature on the Series X so all games played on the new console will be able to take advantage of it.

As for buying a new game, Xbox will be initiating Smart Delivery with the Series X. That means if you currently own a game on your Xbox One you will get the upgraded version of that game (if available) automatically when you purchase the Series X, so you
shouldn't have to buy another copy of Minecraft. You're all good. Happy gaming!

Sorry but 2k has not announced cross-play for the game.

Since you have to pay for the game separately on both consoles I doubt they will have Xbox One and Xbox Series X crossplay.

Before someone says If you buy NBA 2K21 Mamba Forever Edition you get the Xbox Series X version. Yes, that edition bundles both the Xbox One version and the Xbox Series X version but is not a free upgrade or the same game.
