Having to continuously re-install games

Am I the only one having to continuously re-install games? I'll power off my Xbox One when I finish playing (it doesn't matter if I quit the game or just leave it running, put it to sleep or hard shutdown), go to sleep, and wake up the next day to find out
that I need to re-install a game. This has happened to me with five different games (disc and downloaded) and I am sick of it. The games are installed on a formatted external hard drive (and yes it happened when I had them installed on the system itself) and
everything is hooked up and running as it should. I don't know if it's Xbox Live uninstalling my games or if my system has gone to the crapper. Either way, I need some help or at least some insight as to why I'm having this problem. If it is a problem caused
by Xbox Live, I will be extremely ***. I've given Xbox a lot of money over the last three years, and I would hate to know that I am paying for this headache...

Sorry to hear it. Can you please try power cycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds until it shuts down to see if that solves the issue?

Power cycling doesn't do anything. It actually seems like that is part of the problem. I turn the system off and then I have to re-install a game. It doesn't do it every time I shut down though. It is random.

Can you give us a little more information, make and model of the external hard drive, was it new when you formatted it for the One? When did this problem first start for you?

Hi BEZNOSS,

There is not much else that can be done for troubleshooting this issue since you have already cleared the storage cache and re-installed the game other than continuing to try to clear the cache and re-install the game since it's the only game having performance
issues.

Is this when you play online against others or just against the bots/computers?

Can you try to delete the content again, but this time include all title updates and game downloads with it (the base game). Continue to clear cache, restart, and re-download/re-install the content.
