Hey there, everyone.

Decided to try posting on here to tell my story and see some other opinions on my situation.

2 days ago, I received a notice of enforcement action on my account with the gamertag of .

Not my first notice, so I figured it was going to be a comms ban. Turns out it was a Forced gamertag change.

Now I had the gamertag for 14 YEARS without any issue, and so I figured this was a mistake by an A.I and so I decided to ask for a case review under my enforcement history.

Here's where I run into my problem....The "apply" button in enforcement history page has no link attached to it, so you can't file....

after doing a couple quick google searches, I found this:

Another post on these forums with 3 other users experiencing that same problem as me, only 5 years ago.....

Thinking about the other times I've been to the enforcement site, it hasn't been changed or updated in YEARS, maybe even a decade...

So I'd like to hear some other opinions on the matter, maybe from an ambassador, or from anyone else who'd like to share.

Does this seem like a Scam run by the enforcement team, or is it a HUGE mistake on their website that they don't want to bother fixing?

The site has had a few glitches over the years so I would say this is just another glitch. Otherwise, we would have had a lot more posts about it than the one from 5 years ago. The glitches have been fixed in the past, so you'll want to check back.

As far as having the gamertag for that long, it sometimes just takes that long for someone to report a tag and the enforcement team investigate it.

unfortunately we can't do anything about Enforcement actions as we are only volunteers and have no contact with Enforcement, and Enforcement don't use these forums.

if there is no method of starting a case review on the Enforcement site then it is likely the case is not eligible for review.

Both of your point's make a lot of sense.

If it is just a glitch, then I'm stuck in Limbo at the moment, otherwise I'd just pay the $10 bucks for a new tag, ya know?

As for your other point, I've had other people literally tell me they reported my gamertag before and nothings come of it, but it could be that so many reports could add up to an auto-ban by A.I., which is common. Then I run into the glitch of not being
able to contact the Enforcement team.

I understands the extra hassle it would add, but tech support should be able to put you in contact with the enforcement team, period. It really surprises me that the Enforcement team don't have work related email accounts for problems like this that occur.

Oh, a little extra info on my gamertag

I made the gamertag back during halo 3's golden days, and back then, as well as even now I've been a fan of an energy drink called literally "BAWLS"

So my gamertag is a nod to that drink and halo 3.

I'll pay for BAWLS with the SKULLZ of my enemy's.

Where's the profanity or need to force change my tag?

You responded and I thank you for that.....but I notice you didn't say anything about the BROKEN LINK or the 3 other users that experienced that same issue.....nothing in that regard?
