    Having some issues?


    I have been having problems with my xbox one for a few days now. I have not been able to open any games or apps, when I try the home screen freezes. I have to press the home button to be able to navigate again. I am able to access the home screens, the settings
    and the app & games menu. But as soon as I try opening something else it freezes. Also when I turn on the Xbox it takes a long time to turn on, it sits on the green screen for a while and sometimes goes to a black screen with a white logo in the corner. I
    have also been sometimes getting a error saying the game has taken to long to load.

    Also all the disks are not being recognized, I put a disk in and it still says insert disk on the home screen.

    This all started a few days ago, it happened right after I downloaded a game disk and also the new batman arkham knight dlc file. My external hard drive disappeared for like 2 hours I finally got it back up and then these other problems started. Do you think
    it could be from the downloads?

    I did try rebooting it and unplugging it, and also removed my profile and reinstalled it.

    Having some issues?

    To clarify, the game install and download didn't finish installing it froze up everything. I had to hold to power button to restart it. Then the external hard drive disappeared and the issues started.

    Greetings BirdTHPS!

    No service alert related to the Xbox 360 platform has shown up this morning so we have to assume that the service is all up and running.

    If you haven't already, try download your profile from LIVE and clear your Xbox system cache.

    Clear Xbox system cache



    1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.
    2. Select Storage or Memory.
    3. Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller.
    4. Select Clear System Cache.

    Restart your console.

    Download Xbox LIVE profile.

    1. Press the Xbox Guide button on your controller (large X button in the center of your controller).
    2. Select Download Profile.
    3. Not seeing Download Profile? Press X to sign out of your profile.
    4. Enter the Microsoft account associated with your Xbox LIVE gamertag.
    5. Enter your Microsoft account password.

    A reset to the router works like oil to an engine, most of the times. *Crossed fingers* that flushing your router will keep your connection to Xbox LIVE up and running, as it should. Play safe and happy gaming.

    Hmm. Well I tried that and it wasn't working. Reset my router and it seems to be alright now, knock on wood.

    My internet went out last night but I fixed it and everything seemed to be fine. All devices were working again. PC's, PS3, tablet etc.

    I guess my xbox wasn't satisfied eh. Strange.
