    Having some difficulty, iso assistance/info.


    So I'm a long time microsoft & xbox user / resubscriber as you can see from the image. As you can see I currently have 70 Euro on my account for the purpose of renewing my gold membership, which has just recently expired.

    There seems to be some glitch where my hard earned money doesn't seem to be getting recognized by the system. Is there anything that can be done from your end to assist me in this?

    UPDATE YOUR BILLING INFO! I redeemed to Pre Paid Cards and was having the same difficulty.

    Cant add Paypal to my Xbox live Payment Options

    I linked my PayPal account without difficulty. I even purchased some MP's.

    Call support if your having difficulty.

    It's not a glitch. It's how the system works. Gold can only be purchased via credit card/Paypal or by purchasing a prepaid card in a store. It is not possible to purchase gold with the currency in your account.

    Wow, that's... terrible. If that is indeed the case it is safe to assume many others including myself have gotten burned from this?

    Also, the 70E on my account is now frozen or useless? I specifically put the cash on my account in order to be prepared for my gold resubscription after my previous year subscription expired.

    I have the money on the account, am willing to spend it on my sub, yet they will not accept it? this makes little sense to me

    There have been others who have thought the same, but it never was possible to use Microsoft points to purchase a gold subscription so when that changed into currency that stayed the same. The system is not set up to work with a recurring subscription. The
    money you have on your account can be used to purchase content on the marketplace, but there is no way to take it off or to use it for a subscription.

    This hurts, I can't believe there is no system to allow for this. I'm getting that "I've feel scammed" feeling now. However thank you for your replies Smwutches.

    Xbox, this incident has made my next generation console choice quite simple to say the least. I don't expect anything like this could or would happen on your rivals Playstation Network. That's where you will find me in the future, one more previously loyal
