    having problems


    I have an Xbox One but want to play Oblivion which is Backwards Compatable, I can not play the disc that I had for the Xbox 360 as it has a load of scratches so I decided to purchase it instead. I know it only costs £3.95 (I have £18.52 available credit
    to spend in my wallet) but when it comes to the comfirm purchase I get the following message:-

    You have no valid payment options on file.

    Microsoft Account Balances cannot be used in this purchase channel.

    Change Payment Option

    View Xbox Live usage rules

    This transaction is subject to the the Microsoft Service Agreement. You will be charged at this time. No refunds.

    I dont want to add a bank card as I buy credit from GAME, like I said I have enough credit to buy the game, it just wont allow me to buy it. Is there a reason why I am seeing this message, can some one shed some light on this for me please.

    The store on the One has never been updated to see your Microsoft account balance as a valid payment option for 360 content. So you would have to use either a credit card or Paypal, or you would have to make the purchase on a 360 console in order to use
    the funds on your account.

    Hi there,

    Sorry to hear that you're having issues. Does this happen with other games or just one in particular? Have you already

    power cycled     your Xbox One? We also highly recommend that you go through the Xbox One Slow Performance troubleshooter guide.

    Please let us know how it goes after working through all of that!
