Not the disc. Once you install it, it plays off the Hard Drive and only checks the disc to make sure you have the game.

anyone have a clue what it could be with the 66 ping? and maybe how to fix it?

how i can raise my MTU on my xbox to 1492 (its set to that in my router)

and yes there are several people watching/playing but it shouldnt effect it as much and also late night when im playing the same s*** happens...

I've been playing on and off all day and my ping goes from 20 up to 70
while I'm watching it and it doesn't seem to affect the game. It doesn't stay at one number for any length of time. A constant 66 is odd.

My MTU is also 1480.

yeah its so weird but no one has an answer to it! just wanna grind the hell out of BO3 but its not fun with lagging mates and opponents

Hey I saw you did port forwarding. I assume you did all 7 xbox one ports, but did you open any of the COD ports? Port 3074 UDP and TCP is one of the ports that could help your issues if not already opened that is. I also listed all 7 xbox one ports incase
you needed them. =)

- Port 3074 (UDP and TCP) (Xbox Live Port)

- Port 53 (UDP and TCP) (DNS Port)

- Port 80 (TCP) (HTTP Port)

It always being 66 is weird. It should change as you connect to different hosts in the game.

But, to be honest, low ping and Open NAT means your connection is good for playing online.

Is there anyone else in your house using your connection? Family members watching Youtube or streaming a movie on their PC or Phone or something?

Yes 66 is ok but other friends with worse connections have pings of 20 or sooo....so i just think its weird that its alwys 66.... i have an open nat after i opened the ports

more tips? Would love to enjoy cod again.

66 is actually a very good in-game ping as long as it's pretty steady. If it's steady at 66, I'd suspect it's the other players who are lagging.

Your PC may take a different route to get to the same place and could have a lower or higher ping than your Xbox.

Is your NAT in the game Open, Moderate or Strict? It should tell you on the bottom of the screen in Black Ops 3.

Not every router can go into Bridge mode.

Only way to really test is to bridge it like I said or take it to one of your friends house and test it there ...

Im connected via LAN cable i have a standard modem a fritzbox 7430 my isp is the german Telekom and its my connection,because my teammates and opponents reported that they dont lag ingame. However on my screen they do thats why its gotta be my connection.
