having problems signing in son's profile

I'm having the same problem. Can only sign in the main profile. My son cannot sign in for co-op. Just get that never ending spinning circle. Hard reset was no help.

Okay, here's what the OP can do...

1: Add his profile to his Son's Xbox.

2: Open a secondary account on his own (home) console.

3: Have his Son sign into the OP's primary account in the background.

4: The OP signs in using his secondary account.

That way the OP has access because he's on the home Xbox and his Son will have access because the account that purchased the game is signed in on his console. BAM! Problem solved.

i am still having the same problems. i have spoken to support over the phone they dont know whats wrong. but if i sign into my sons profile on the same xbox its fine.

I'm having the same issue with my son. He can't sign into his xbox live user name. Only the adult profile can sign in. It says to go to xbox.com and sign him in there, so once I signed on there then what?!? There's no help and no easy way to find out.
Its very frustrating. I understand all these updates but everytime it happens my son has problems signing in. This is getting to be beyond ridiculous. If anyone can help that would greatly appreciated.

Have you tried downloading your sons profile to the console?

Press the guide button, press X to sign out of any profile that may be signed in, you should then see an option to Download Profile.
