Having problems downloading games.

I have been having problems over the last two months when trying to download a game. The game will download for a certain percentage and then just stop and say can't download. I have been on the forums and seen other people had this issue and i have tried
resolving it with the information provided. Iv haven't changed internet service provider and a haven't had this problem before. I purchased Red Dead Redemption last night and it downloaded to 13% then it stopped and said can't download I would like a refund
for this please.

When you say older than 17 does that mean you're 18 or older?

If you're under 18 there is no way to download free M rated demos. If you are 18 or over you would need to promote your account to an adult account.

 

What is your account region

What is your actual region

What is your connection type

Wifi or network cable

Also isp and type of connection

Lte cable dsl fibe

If fibe you need to call your isp to setup your network for gaming

Lte is not a consistent connection you need actual broadband

Also if you are on an us foreign base your account region doesnt match if you use the us

Bases dont use a us connection And uses local connections whjch is why you are failing

Territories dont all recognize as the us either

 

I've also purchased Red Dead redemredemption and can't download it. In most times it hits 100% and then it says itcant download, so its not just your problem and i aalsohavent had any problems with downloads untill this game havent been changing anything
and it doesnt work, other than that this is an on-demand title, not a free arcade game or a special promotion for just one region so it should download normally as all my other games do. I still insist it's a problem on microsoft' side and it should not suppose
to take one week (since 2.3.2015) to correct it, i don't want mymoney back i just want to play this game.

 

They have changed the status on the 5th march so it wouldn't show that there are problem since the second, and the problems aren't just downloading new themes and avatar as the service alert says but mostly games, and belive me i'm watching these forums
everyday and there were at least 20 users with the same problem...

Red dead redemption is region locked no service status will change your abiloty to dpwnllad that

For the best experience with xbox live your account region has to match your actual region

I downloaded tombraider on the5th fyi

And movies and resident evil

 

If you look up other threads concerning red dead redemption the region lock error pops up

Unless you try downloading it from the website which doesnt pass the region locks

Remember not every situation is the same

Settings like yours can cause downloads to fail since you dont live in austria kool

If others have downloaded content since the 5th its not always the service thats why server status are updated

Fixing a problem with aa server can take time but it depends the recent download issue only laated a day

If you have download issues now it wouldnt be connected as pointed put by you your account region doesnt match your actual region

That is. Aknown issue ths fix ia to live in an xbox live region

Xbox live has to follow international laws and distibution rights

 

I live in Ireland and if I can purchase a product and can't use it doe that not violate consumer law. If you advertise a product and we should be able to download this and not just certain parts of the world.I have since been able to download tomb raider
but it took a while with contentious stops saying can't download. I also keep getting signed out for no reason and disconnected from xboxlive and before you say its my ISP dont give any of the crap cause my brother is able to sign in with no issues on his
xbox.

Using a uk account while in ireland doesnt count and would cauae a region fail

If you keep getting signed out well we need more nfo

Are you using the line as your brother if so you need to increase your mtu to handle two consoles

If you are in two seperate houses then do a speedtest.net result

If you arr using skybroadband or virgin contavt the isp becsuse the fibre needs to adjust the firewall settings for gaming
