    Having problems buying Tv shows or Movies


    I have recently tried to purchase a tv show from the xbox one store and when I click 'buy' I am greeted with a message stating that 'I can buy the show but need my parents permission to play or run it'. I am then taken to the pirshase screen and click 'buy'
    but I am the greeted with another message saying 'choose another product, you are not old enough for this'. However I am the owner of the xbox and the parent/adult in question and have my xbox account unrestricted, I can buy any xbox game but not a pg rated
    tv show. How would I fix this issue?

    i having this usage rights problem as well. bought alot of movie , music videos,tv shows. now i have nothing.. getting tired of all the problems. thinking just cancelling out & staying with playstation. less problems and dont get ripped off

    Xbox video overpriced up the ***, or just a malfunction?

    So I was looking on Xbox video for tv shows and movies to buy, when I found several tv seasons were upwards of 6000 and 8400 ms points. Is this a legitimate pricing scheme or is it just problems within Xbox video?

    strange bug- cant purchase unrated games

    I have the same problem although it occurs when Im trying to buy a tv show or movie but I can still buy 18 rated games.

    Unable to purchase movies or television shows

    I am in Brazil and I am having the same problem, I can not buy or rent movies and TV shows on Xbox one. I did this in Windows 10 and it worked okay, but I want to watch the movies by xbox, because of the larger TV.

    When I try to buy a movie, the error 0x80004003 is showed. And if I try to get into my library to see movies purchased/leased by the computer's browser, the same error appears. That is, the error is both to buy and to watch.

    If anyone can help, I'm grateful.

    No. In order to qualify you have to buy games and/or TV shows or movies. DLC does not count towards the offer.

    Movies and TV shows can buy it in the Microsoft Store. The app is only a viewer.

    Mr. Gwyther,

    As others have pointed out, we don't believe its a billing issue. For example, I currently have 600 Microsoft points. I'm trying to rent a movie for 360 points and it simply won't allow me to do it. This transaction should have nothing to do with billing
    my card since I already have points I can use that will cover the rental.

    In fact, I bought points to be able to rent the movie and the transaction went through fine. I just can't use the points to buy the movie. I tried buying other movie's and tv shows to test, but I get the same error.

    In summary the problem is:

    1. I can purchase MS points, and my account/card will get billed.

    2. I can't use those MS points to buy movies/tv shows.
