Having multiple issues on my console and accessing stuff on XBOX live after the update

After the newest update downloaded I cannot access my achievements or the XBOX store on my Xbox one console. All my save data is gone as well but the games are still on the hard drive. When I try to open up a game it wants to download an update for that
game which was previously currently up to date. I tried to put in a 14 day trial code to get my save data off the cloud saves since I let my Xbox live gold expire recently due to funding issues on my end. I was on the phone with XBOX customer support for over
an hr and he has never heard of this happening and he told me to go to the forums.

Xbox Connection Issues

This is not concerning myself, but instead this is concerning multiple friends. Recently since the latest update my friends have had serious connection issues making them unavailable to connect to Xbox Live after accessing the multiplayer menu. This needs
to be resolved please.

Did you try a hard reset of the console?

 

yea mine did that yesterday,

after update all games disk game were missing and the xbox was no longer seeing my external HDD.

i fixed this but fully shuting down the xbox one and removed the power cable from the rear of the xbox for about 30 seconds then plugged it back in turned console back on everything working as befor ... TF

if i would of had to re-install all my disk based games then update them again, i would not of bothered i would of just sold the xbox one and stick with my xbox 360 ..

have to admit i was quite angry at first and that would of been my limit ... lol

 

So I logged out of my profile and I logged back in and now I can access my achievements and the store. It's also syncing the games and restoring my saves...from where I don't know. Not sure if it's from the cloud because the saves are up to date and I let
my Gold account expire a few months back so my cloud saves would be backdated

 

XBL Silver accounts still have access to the cloud for game save purposes, so your games would still save on the cloud even if you let gold expire.
