    Having lag in many games, although connection is perfect.....


    Hi guys, recently I've been having this issue with my Xbox. I play FIFA 16, Black ops 3 and Rocket League. My "Detailed network statistics are: Download Speed-20.49Mbps, Upload Speed-7.68mbps, Latency-216ms, Wireless Strength-100%. Currently nobody else
    in my house is awake so I know I'm the only person connected to my router and I'm sat about 3 metres away from it. I have tried using an ethernet cable but it doesnt seem to make a difference. At first I assumed it was the router and after multiple attempts
    at resetting the router and it still not making a difference I moved my Xbox to the other side of the house and connected to a different router and it is still lagging in all three games. I'm unsure what to do and would appreciate any help, thank you.

    i lag so much, it says im on 4 bars, and all my computers connection is perfect, and i lag so much on mw3 its bad

    Uneasy is correct.That video is more about the camera delay,which gives you a slight advantage if you pop out from behind cover,as the campers camera is'nt quite synced to when the player actually comes out of cover.Lag is what we all experience due to our
    connection to the host and Lag compensation is the best "Fix" that the devs have for the lag by trying to even out the best connections with the worst,although with such a variation of connections it's not perfect,as i know all too well.

    Troubleshoot for Xbox One

    Go up to the console and hold the power button until the console shuts down

    Unplug the power brick from the console, from the power brick, and from the wall

    While the console is unplugged from the power brick hold the power button on the console for about 2-3 seconds and do that 3 times

    After that, then wait about 3 minutes before plugging everything back in

    Hook everything back up, power on the console and then go the following

    Settings>Network>Network Settings>Advanced Settings>Alternate MAC Address>Clear

    Confirm to restart the console and then you are set

    @Bob - I've experienced lag in other games before, (I've gone from a perfect game to completely unplayable on my previous providers connection in the same match) and I'm not saying it will ever be perfect but it needs to be better balanced. How does it make
    any sense to completely over compensate for a known problem? Sure try to balance the lag but not so much that it goes the opposite direction. Are you trying to say that because other games have had lag for people with slower connections that now people with
    good connections have to pay? Really I don't expect perfection just better than what it is. The only way lag will ever be eliminated completely is if everyone has the exact same connection and their speed never changes.

    Titanfall is lagging !!!!

    Titanfall is lagging. My connection is perfect the server must have too much traffic. I hope this will be fixed. Annoying game play.
