If you're having issues with Xbox Live, but you run the test network in the settings option, and it says you're connected to the internet. As long as you are still signed into your profile, try just logging out of that and back in. Often times, that helps
reset the connection to Xbox Live. Especially, if your Xbox is trying to connect to the same internet provider that all your other home devices are connected to and working fine online.

If that doesn't work, then you may need to do a network reset. Go to your router where your home internet is, and just unplug that for 30 seconds and plug it in. That will also help reset the connection for the Internet to get to your Xbox, and then sign
back into your profile. Just know that it will kick your other devices off the internet, so inform other users at home that you are so they aren't surprised and can save any work.

It could also just be a region issue for some Xbox Live customers. And the only thing you can really do there is wait a day or two to see if it comes back online. Especially if all your other devices work on the same internet provider. If you google "is
Xbox live down", you should see a down detector page for Xbox Live, where Facebook users can post what location they are at, and if Xbox Live isn't working for them. This will give you an idea if it's just you or not in your area.

Hello, Sorry your having issues. If none of the steps mentioned above are working. Try contacting your internet provider and make sure there are no issues with your internet. I hope this helps and that your problems get resolved.

Make sure any of your homes other internet accessible devices are disconnected and powered down if you are living with weaker internet connections.

If you are running wireless setup, switch to a hard wire until all d/ling is complete.

I'm having the same issue. I had no problems connecting to Xbox Live yesterday, today it won't connect. Other devices connect to the Internet via home wireless network with no issues.

I'm sorry you are experiencing issues with Roblox.

Not all devices use the same internet settings, protocols, or features, so even if your internet is working fine on other devices, there could still be some problems with your console's internet connection.

To clarify, are you experiencing similar disconnection issues on other online games?

@Nerdyrebel21 - This is not how the TCP/IP protocol works. The IP address your device receives has no bearing on how traffic on your subnet is routed to it. The only way this could even remotely be an issue is if your device had to go through one or more
other routers in order to reach the internet, and one of those routers was having issues, which is highly unlikely in a home environment.

Careful. Putting both devices in bridge mode will cause issues on your network. A router/modem working in bridging mode will not offer any DHCP (or any other services) to the internal network and may cause your devices to lose connectivity to each; it may
also cause unpredictable issues with your internet connection.

Ideally, either your SMC or Airport will be bridging, but not both. One should act as the edge of your home network and connect you to the internet. Whichever is not bridging should have UPnP turned on, or apply port forwarding for Xbox Live ports to your
Xbox 360.
