    Having issues with split screen for Gears of War 1 via backwards compatability.


    I've never played a Gears game and I figured buying 4 and getting all the previous games was a sweet deal. Well I occasionally play with my girlfriend and when I went to go try Gears of War tonight anytime we would attempt to log into the second profile
    screen from within the game, the game would crash and take me back to the home screen. To provide a few more details:

    1. We are both logged into the console before we launch the game.

    2. The game crashes regardless of who the second person logging in within the game is.

    3. the freezing and crash occurs after it asks the second profile is asked for the password and is in the process of logging in.

    If anyone has heard of this issue or knows a workaround/ fix it would be greatly appreciated.

    Gears of war codes

    I have both Gears ultimate and Gears of war 4,bith were preordered game's with access to all other Gears titles via backward compatability. I'm know I received code's at some point but never downloaded them, now the messages have expired is there a way of
    receiving the codes again?

    MS PLEASE release the full Gears of War Trilogy as a remaster just like HALO. Nobodoy wants just the first game!!!!

    Split Screen.. wow. Actually Gears of War 1 was the last game I had ever played Split Screen.

    Offline co-op multiplayer and splitscreen games...!

    Here is the most current games my family is enjoying on Xbox One co-op. Borderlands the Handsome Collection (4 player split screen). Gears of War Ultimate which if you play you get Gears 1,2,3 and Judgement for free when backwards compatibility comes out
    this month if you play Ultimate Edition on Xbox Live between August 25 and Dec 31st 2015 ( No release date on when you will receive them ). All have local split screen. Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare is very fun split screen which can also be downloaded
    along with many other titles with the EA access app on Xbox One.

    I've been having the same issue but it is with the Gears of War 2 (the backwards compatibility) really it's annoying!
