having issues with signing into microsoft for minecraft ps4

alright so i’m having trouble with this new bedrock update for minecraft. i just bought it for my ps4 and i can’t seem to sign into my microsoft account. every time i do, i get the prompt saying it’s already connected and to sign into my previously connected account. but the only problem with that, is that i never even signed into a microsoft account before with this psn…i already deleted the game and reinstalled it and even deleted the data for it. i don’t know what else to do. i reached out to mojang and they just send me the same email over and over again not helping me at all. i contacted microsoft and they weren’t helpful either.

Unlinking your Minecraft account will be possible however, it would not be linked to another account. Best approach is to reach out directly to Mojang to get this fixed so you can go back to gaming. Here is the link to do that: Submit a request – Home (minecraft.net)

Have you opened a PSN account at Sony with this email you just created, or do you have another account that logs into your PSN?

Ps4 received the Bedrock version of Minecraft, meaning it is crossplay enabled now. However you need to have a Microsoft account to be able to play with your friends on other platforms.

There is some issues with the linking/signing in of accounts on PS4.

When on Minecraft on the PS4 you should have the option to sign into a Microsoft account.

I have signed into Microsoft but Minecraft still is telling me to sign in

Don’t use tech works explain it like your talking to an old man on the phone cause i have been at this for 3 hours now and Minecraft is still telling me to sign in but all my other ps4 and ps5 friends have no trouble
