Having issues with connectivity from wireless controllers and accessories

My new Series X is having issues with my Elite series 1 (white) controller and my LucidSound LS35X wireless headset where both have problems maintaining connection or fail to connect all together without a hard reset.

When I turn my controller on, which turns the console on, everything looks connected (solid light on xbox button on controller) but there is no response from the controller. This is not an every time occurrence either, sometimes it works fine, usually a
few times after a hard reset. This same problem happens with the headset too where it will be on and "connected" where I can hear my voice via monitoring but I can't hear any game or Xbox sounds. The fix I've found for this is to resync the headset and while
it is trying to resync, turn it off and back on. Resyncing the controller has not fixed it's issue.

Another interesting part is that if I power on my controller with no response from the console and plug it in with a USB cord to the console, it still wont send any response. But if I power the controller down (removing the battery) and plug it is while
it is off it will now function properly. As long as I leave it plugged in for a little bit of time it will continue to function after removing the cord. But this process doesn't do the same for the headset.

I have also had issues with maintaining connection as well with both where I will be in the middle of a game and my headset and controller will cut out at separate times and usually reconnect themselves quickly but stall me for a few seconds. The headset
has had worse luck and sometimes never reconnects until a power cycle.

I sit with in 6 feet of my console and there is nothing in between the console, controller and headset. I do have a Xbox One X that is unplugged below as well as PC across the room all which are connected wirelessly to my google mesh wifi router which is
on the floor below.

This problem has become increasingly annoying and has stopped me from playing my new console at times. I haven't been able to find anyone with a permanent fix yet and am hoping someone is experiencing similar issues.
