Having issues runing minecraft Java, It's installed but it gives me an error basically...

Where exactly did you download or acquire your Minecraft Java Edition? Are you using the Minecraft Launcher from the MS Store or from the Minecraft website?

In regard to the error you received, simply download the new jar file from the link on the error message:

Once downloaded, find the path below and delete the old one then copy & paste the new one you downloaded.
C:\Users\Ritsu\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\libraries\com\github\oshi\oshi-core\

I want to help you, my friend, but you need to give me more information about this issue since there's lots of things that can cause a game installation not succeed on Windows.

What exactly happens when you try to install Minecraft for Windows? Do you receive an error message? If so, please share a screenshot of the error message.

i recently got the minecraft pc bundle, and i installed minecraft java, when i tried to update the bedrock edition, i couldn't install it, minecraft bedrock is not working for me anymore since a week ago, i got so many solutions, but none of them worked, and i still have the same issue

I don't get an error code accept for "an error occurred on our end" and a manual install also does not work.

Also is their three packages for the minecraft launcher?

One that is for both java edition and inecragt for Windows

The second java edition

The third minecraft for windows.

I did eventually get a version to work since the old launcher redirected me to the new launcher which I installed and did let me install minecraft for windows version.

However the store version which downloads java edition and something else never worked.

Not by reseting not by uninstalling and reinstalling not by downloading from the minecraft website and manually downloading.

I have installed Java, and I have uninstalled and then installed again Minecraft Launcher, and Java(i think), basically thats its, Im still kinda newbie when it comes to computers so i dont know what should i do. I also have the latest version of Java.

Edit: just to confrim, when i have java i also have jdk right?

Upon reading the description you have posted, it seems that you have an issue with Xbox wherein you are unable to change the target location of your Minecraft program. As it always gives you an error code 1.



Let’s work together in finding the best solution to this issue.



For me to better understand the issue, I’d like to ask a few questions:

• When did this issue occurred?

• What are you trying to achieve on this particular method? Are you trying to change the location of your Minecraft launcher?

• If possible, kindly please provide a screenshot of the problem. In order for us to further isolate your current concern.



In the meantime, we would like you to try the suggested methods provided down below:

1. Reinstall Java. The error code 1 may be due to a Java configuration issue, so reinstalling Java may fix it.

2. Change the Java Executable path. You can do this by opening the Minecraft Launcher, clicking on Installations, selecting your profile, clicking on More Options, and changing the Java Executable path to the latest version.

3. Change the Minecraft Launcher path. You can do this by right-clicking on the Minecraft Launcher shortcut, clicking on Properties, and changing the Target location to the folder where Minecraft is installed.



4. Disable mods. Some mods may be outdated or incompatible with your Minecraft version, so disabling them may resolve the error.
