Having issues broadcasting

So when i try to broadcast i put the title in and hit start broadcast. It sais please wait while we finish testing your internet bandwidth.. Then it goes back to the previous screen and under game to broadcast it sais unknown game.

my settings are right and i am logged in.. I was able to broadcast on my PS4 anytime and my internet speeds are really good.

any idea whats going on?

about that issues sounds like Mixer Problem with Broadcasts Fail to Show but i always goes too the Mixers Status first if there are problems by going at Mixer Status but if its not listed you can always
going to they Support at Mixer | Interactive Livestreaming and see what they would say

Every time I try to broadcast on mixer I get a message something went wrong. Try broadcasting again later. Been having this problem for months now an Microsoft have no idea what the problem is. Can somebody please help me out with this problem

 

I'm having the exact same problem if I fine a fix (which I probably won't) I will let you know.

 

glitches and most likely overload problems.. worked perfectly last night from about 7 to 11:30 but once word got out... it locked up on me as well...

I love the archive.... I have a 42 minute clip in mine... now to find a way to steal it.... and re edit it.... better than the internal XB1 one.... who says you need a capture device!

 

happened to me repeatedly last night. what i did to fix it was uninstall Twitch .. power cycle the Xbox One (hold the power button down a few seconds) .. then reinstalled Twitch. before i went to broadcast, i checked my Privacy settings to make sure it
was set to Everybody and All Broadcasts etc. it was so then I booted a game up that allows Twitch ... said the words and it starting working like a charm.

 

Sadly it still doesn't work for me even after I tried out everything mentioned by vDeacon and more.

 

I haven't had any issues broadcasting.

Mine keeps telling me to activate and when i Do its the wrong code. worked fine last night too

 

I am having the same issue. Everything seems to go right and then it tests bandwidth and then when it comes back, it says unknown game and refuses to do anything after that. Preview window just says loading and I end up having to hard reset the box.

 

Had the same issues this morning. This afternoon after live come back on I was able to Broadcast with ease. Only at 600 bitrate though. Friends said it was watchable though. I was only on Forza single player though. I dare not broadcast while in MP

 

Got it working this afternoon. My quality is below 800 though. Friend says it was watchable though. Had same issues as you all this morning. Hard reset should do it.

 

1: Make a twitch account on the website.

2: Make sure NAT is Open in network settings.

3: Set the correct rights of privacy, use Custom settings. Majornelson.com has a guide.

4: Make sure you are listed as Online

5: Start Twitch app and get the code, then go to Twitch website and paste it in to link accounts.

6: Start a game, Then start Broadcast, not before.

Following these steps should work for everyone.
