    Having input lag when playing FIFA 17.


    I have been playing FIFA on Xbox one for about one year now and I have noticed that when I'm playing a game on FIFA I have input lag or some kind of controller lag. Is this normal or how do you fix so it's lag free? When I'm playing FIFA on my ps4 I never
    have lag but when I'm playing on the Xbox I always have lag when playing.. Is it due to my screen? I'm playing on my LG flatron w2453v. I've heard that you can turn on game mode on your screen but I don't find it in the menu. Someone who knows how to fix this
    issue?

    Live does not work even though I can see in settings that everything is ok.

    I've purchased Live today but I don't get access when playing Fifa 17. What could be wrong?

    September 15th Update (Forced update on 19th September) has severely impacted my Xbox One's performance!

    I bought the Xbox one S Fifa 17 bundle yesterday. And since then i've witnessed this as well. Lag just throughout the whole Xbox UI. Even ingame i cant play it properly. Is there a fix yet?

    Terrible lag on FIFA 17

    Hey there!

    Thanks for posting up what you've tried! This may be an issue that you will need to work with your ISP on. If packet loss ever breaks 0%, even if it's just 1%, that would indicate that there's an issue sending packets of data between your network set up
    at home and your ISP. If you are seeing upwards of 9% packet loss, that can definitely explain some of the behavior being reported. Additionally, if your ping is fluctuating that much, reaching out to your ISP will be the best course to take.

    I like to use pizza as an example for this scenario (plus I really just love pizza). Let's say ISP = pizza shop, and packets = the toppings on the pizza you ordered. Packet loss is similar to if the pizza man dropped a 9% of the topping you ordered on his
    way to your door. You still have a pizza to eat, but it's not quite the pizza you were expecting. Obviously, it's way more complicated than that, but hopefully that paints a decent enough picture about what may be at play here.

    Input lag is the difference in time between when the signal is accepted by the display and when it is shown on the screen. Both HDTVs and monitors have some, but monitors tend it have less because of default settings on TVs increasing input lag. You can
    set up a HDTV to have an unnoticeable amount of input lag.
