    Having HDR issues with my Xbox One S on my LG OLED TV


    I recently bought an LG CX OLED TV and am having issues with my HDMI connection supporting HDR10 on the XBOX One S. My TV diagnostics say the input signal is no good. It'll play HDR but black out every once in a while. At this point I have tried multiple
    premium high speed (>18GBPS) HDMI cables and am not able to get a secure signal. The Xbox says that the TV should accept 4k and HDR10. The weird thing is, it will pass Dolby Vision and SDR fine but HDR on games, blu-rays, and streaming the TV says cable is
    no good. I tried going through the settings and turning other modes on/off, turning on YCBR 4:2:2, and lowering the refresh rate/resolution without luck. I did have a similar issue with a sony blu-ray player (Dolby Vision fine, HDR 10 no Good). I am wondering
    if anyone else has seen this issue.

    i use the BenQ EL2870U. i bought it for 250€. for this pice it is really good. but the hdr looks not so good. the only monitor / tv hdr looks good in my opinion are the LG OLED TVs

    I have this issue as well, but only when HDR and YCC 4:2:2 is enabled in the video settings. My TV is LG OLED B6 and goes trough an AVR, Denon x1400H, not using ARC.

    Hi,

    same here : Xbox One S + LG OLED B7 TV

    This is weird because a few days ago colors were OK (not washed out) with bluray 4K HDR.

    I wonder if the problem comes from last LG firmware or Xbox fall update.

    I think this is LG's fault as the update is more recent (they added dolby atmos decoding to the tv and maybe this bug)
