The explorer pack is not working on my characters. I cannot play as any faction with any race.

 

@A66Charger Were you the one who activated the explorer's pack, or did some one else get it and activate it first? The explorer's pack only works with the account its bound to first, so if its yours, then try deleting and re-adding to see if that fixes it.

 

anyone have any advice on getting a refund for the game? I might pick it back up later but having to log out and log in over and over just to complete a quest is not acceptable to me as a casual gamer

 

Good luck with a refund. I tried and after 15 minutes of them saying "well, you have a problem and I am here, we can work through this together". She said that several times and I got the feeling I was talking to a computer. Upshot is, she suddenly said
that "it is an emerging issue and refunds are locked". They want to see what (this was digital download btw) Zeni/Bethe were going to do. Basically it was "up yours, go away". They get our money and we get a badly broken game. I'm just going to swallow the
loss but by God it galls me!!!

 

In all honesty, the issues are beginning to get drastically minor. I have not had very much issue getting logged in as of late and am only getting minor bugs here and there that prove to be nothing more than an inconvenience.

Couldn't see goblins the other day even though they could attack and inflict damage on me. Logged back in later to play and there they were again. Had the shadow thing happen a couple times but it went away upon my next log in. Even the long que issues seem
to be sort of fixed in that I am only waiting a few minutes max now to get into the game.

I will give credit where credit is due because I was so fed up with this game the first couple of days.

 

Unusually Long Loading time....did not even get to log in screen after 8 min, I quit...the load wait are the only real issues right now but I did get stuck in the environment at a shipwreck....logged off and re-spawned still stuck...had to use the I'm stuck
get me outta here feature to move...cast 51 gold!!!

 

I got the game Saturday on my birthday I have been waiting 17 hours for the update to install and is still only at 86 %. I am getting very irritated,

 

Oh and it says ready to start but when you do it, the game opens and says update installing and won't let you do anything.

 

I got the Imperial edition from Games. Day one took over 5 hours to get into the game. Have had many issues since. What has helped was clearing the cache. I have learned of two ways to do this. The first is unplugging the power brick from the console. Then
pressing the power button about 5 times. However, I just left my console unplugged for more than 5 hours. When you go back into the any game it will give a message. Like it does not have your game information. If you click the message to resych it may not
work so click offline and resyching starts, then play your game. The other I have not tried, and involves going into settings for the Blu-ray player and clear cache. I can not verify this. There have been at least two server maintenance (mini-updates) so clearing
the cache may help with some issues. Otherwise, we all have to wait for the first patch to hopefully fix all the annoying problems.

Invisible Quest NPCs and enemies are a real pain. I just hope the patch fixes the problems and I don't have tom start new characters. Crafting is a good way to explore and do something. The problems are occurring in all three Alliances and on NA and EU servers.

 

you do not have to reboot the machine, just quit the game, its sucks to go back into the qeue, but it never takes 10min, just get a snack or adrink or go take a dump or something, once you get to the character screen you're in, ive stayed on that screen
for an hour while I was afk and still just loads right in

 

....do some curls while you wait .....earn that game time!

 

when you guys come across the invisible NPC's if the logging out and back in does not work, try dashboarding and going back into the game, that will also work and fix it. When the patch comes out it is suppose to address this issue also.... and remember

Lax...lol. I've literally done crunches while I wait. A few times in fact. But, I do that at random times anyway.

 

I got a pullup bar in the doorway

 

sadly, I got my gym set up elsewhere ....but atleast I'm using the equipment now ....my legs are rubber today
