Having frequent issues

Actually, this issue has come up recently. It seems most colleges use systems that don't allow for constant use for devices such as video game consoles. You would have to talk to the school itself about this issue, and see if they have a workaround for you.

Now when I join parties or someone joins mine, it gives me this "due to network restrictions you can't join party chat right now" error. I know it's not a network issue because just restarting one of our Xbox's and/or routers doesn't work. We both have to
do it. Every God *** day. This console is seeming more and more like an expensive paper weight. What the hell happened, Microsoft?

1. Make sure the power settings are correct to either instant on or energy saving, energy saving mode takes longer but it avoids alot of issues since it clears the cache unlike instant on.

2. I've seen alot of people with that problem and unfortunately dont know a fix.

3. Party chat is still broken and glitchy, your best bet is you and your friends create a skype account and use that.

It is sometimes possible to fix the chat by having the party leader switch the chat from open to invite only and back again or have everyone switch from party chat to game chat and back again. Doesn't always work.

The easiest fix I've seen bandied around. Plug your console straight into a wall. Bypass any surge protectors or power strips and try it.
